Day 1: Arrival in Pune & City Sightseeing
On arrival in Pune, transfer to your hotel and check in. After freshening up, proceed for a full-day city sightseeing tour. Visit the historic Aga Khan Palace, the famous Shree Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple, the serene Saras Baug, and the fascinating Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum, which houses a remarkable collection of Indian artifacts. Later, drive past the Savitribai Phule Pune University campus and visit the Film & Television Institute of India (FTII), a landmark of Indian cinema. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Pune.
Day 2: Pune – Aurangabad – Grishneshwar & Ellora Caves
After breakfast, drive to Aurangabad (approx. 330 km / 6–7 hrs). On arrival, visit the Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Later, explore the Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its rock-cut architecture, including the magnificent Kailasa Temple. Check in at the hotel in Aurangabad for overnight stay.
Day 3: Ajanta Caves & Departure
After breakfast, drive to the Ajanta Caves (approx. 100 km / 2.5–3 hrs from Aurangabad), renowned for their ancient Buddhist rock-cut sculptures and exquisite murals. After sightseeing, return to Aurangabad for transfer to the airport/railway station for your onward journey, concluding the tour.
